Charles and Patricia Gail Williamson Fund

Charlie began running in the 1970’s and soon was cycling and competing in triathlons. On March 13, 2008, Charles Edward Williamson was struck and killed while bicycling on the Coalfields Expressway. He was 70 years young. His family and friends then established this donor advised field of interest fund which will generate income benefiting children and outdoor recreation. A particular interest is providing bicycles for underprivileged children. Charlie taught at Beckley Junior High School, served as principal of Clear Fork and Flat Top Elementary Schools, and, upon his death, he was working for School Specialties.
