Chantal Disaster Relief Fundraiser

NC Triangle Democratic Socialists of America is raising money for people affected by Tropical Storm Chantal.

The ugliest face of capitalism is often revealed in the wake of a major disaster, and that's exactly what we're seeing right here in the Triangle. Climate disaster like extreme flooding falls hardest on those with the fewest resources -- the poor, the marginalized, and the working class. Our solidarity with all the oppressed people of the world calls on us to help our neighbors affected by Chantal.

Donations will directly support community members affected by Chantal and other necessary logistical expenses. We also hope to fund cleanup and rebuilding efforts in the long-term, but we need your support to do so!

Funds may be used for mutual aid and disaster relief efforts by NC Triangle DSA, or to assist partner organizations in related efforts in areas affected by Chantal. Any remaining funds may be used towards future disaster relief efforts by NC Triangle DSA. Donations made to this fund are not tax-deductible.
