Since 2017, this blog has served as a platform for sharing stories, insights, and experiences that resonate with our diverse identities. However, as we strive to enhance our presence and impact, we face challenges that require your support.

The Need for Upgrading
Currently, we are operating on the free version of WordPress, which has its limitations. Upgrading to a premium plan will not only allow us to secure an official domain name but also provide a better user experience for our readers. An official domain will enhance our credibility and make it easier for people to find us online. Furthermore, the premium features will enable us to create a more dynamic and engaging space for our community. 

Costs Involved
The costs associated with upgrading include: 

  • Premium Plan Subscription: This ranges from $4 to $25 monthly, depending on the features we choose to implement.
  • Domain Registration: The first year of domain registration is free with a premium plan, but subsequent renewals will incur costs (around $13 per year for standard domains) 
  • Maintenance and Enhancements: Regular updates and potential plugin costs for added functionalities.

Our blog has been enriched by the contributions of passionate writers who have shared their stories and insights without compensation. To ensure that we can continue attracting talented contributors, we aim to offer stipends as a token of appreciation for their efforts. This not only motivates them but also enriches our content, making it more diverse and representative of our community.
