Goal
On June 24, 2026, two earthquakes of magnitude 7.2 and 7.5 struck Venezuela just 39 seconds apart. The damage in Caracas and La Guaira is devastating. The Government has declared a national state of emergency.
Fundación Chamos has been working directly with vulnerable communities in Venezuela for 19 years in nutrition, education, and access to water. We didn't arrive today. We were already there, and we are already responding.
Your donation makes our three-phase plan possible:
Immediate response: Distribution of LifeStraw filters, infant formula, therapeutic foods, and purification tablets from our warehouses, along with urgent procurement of water, food, medicine, and hygiene supplies through our verified suppliers.
Short term: Activation of partnerships with international organizations that channel supplies into Venezuela, leveraging our distribution network and on-the-ground presence to ensure aid reaches where it is needed most.
Medium term: Structural assessment and reconstruction of our damaged schools, program centers, and community spaces, to restore nutrition, education, and water access services for the children and families we work with every day.
Thank you for standing with Venezuela. Thank you for standing with Chamos.
