Chafing for the Wolves
Nick and I are running the Smuttynose Rockfest Half Marathon on October 5th. Nick has been absolutely crushing his fitness journey post-heart attack, and I’ve decided to join him on his road to 13.1. We’re doing this in honor of both our dads, who recently passed after their battles with colon cancer. To remember them and give this race real meaning, we’ve decided to run for a cause and support one of the most incredible organizations out there: Man Up to Cancer.
Their mission is simple and powerful: no man should go through cancer alone. They’re called the Wolfpack for a reason—they build community, provide support, and remind men (and caregivers) that they don’t have to face cancer in isolation. Learn more about the work they do at www.manuptocancer.org.
