The Celso Munoz Memorial Fund
The Celso Munoz Memorial Fund - Incepted In memory of a much loved colleague by the team at Salesforce Ohana.
To those whose lives Celso touched, he was a quietly spoken, deeply caring, selfless and considered man.
Celso’s life centred around his devoted and much adored wife Mariana and the light of his life, three-year-old daughter, Mia.
On the night of October 27th 2021, Celso tragically lost his life to osteosarcoma, and today the world is much poorer.
Celso ignited passion in those around him with his simple acts of courage in the face of great personal adversity. His memory will continue to inspire all who had the great fortune of knowing him, to be the best version of ourselves we can be.
Salesforce community today wrap their arms around Mariana and Mia with this fundraiser, and send love, and strength to the two most precious people in Celso’s life, to their extended families, and to those friends and colleagues who today are experiencing an unspeakable sense of loss.
For some moments in life there simply are no words.
The Cooper Rice-Brading Foundation
The Cooper Rice-Brading Foundation (CRBF) provides funding to support critical research for sarcoma, aims to heighten community awareness of this cancer and provides support for patients and families living with a sarcoma diagnosis.
Funds from this campaign will be directed to the CRBF Patient Support Programme to assist in alleviating the imminent financial burden on Mariana and Mia.
Should there be funds remaining, at the Salesforce team's discretion, they will be directed to other families in need, who will in future, experience the loss of a loved one. Funeral costs, accrued medical expenses, a much needed break, and day to day living expenses, are examples of the types of assistance a family may require after the unspeakable loss of a loved one.
CRBF is a voluntarily run NGO, which does not pay salaries, and because of our stellar voluntary workforce, 100% of all tax-deductible donations are directed to the cause.
