On the evening of October 24, 2025, the Society of Architectural Historians will host its most anticipated party of the year, SAH Celebrates. This lively affair will recognize the achievements of four architectural advocates who have shaped the built environment and championed historic places. Our outstanding 2025 honorees are:

-- Robert Sharoff and William Zbaren, architectural author and photographer

-- Rebecca Graff, Ph.D., urban archaeologist and Associate Professor of Anthropology at Lake Forest College, and

-- Lynn Osmond, former CEO of the Chicago Architecture Center

More than a fun night out, SAH Celebrates is also a vital fundraising opportunity supporting the Society's mission to preserve and promote the history of architecture. A primary beneficiary of the gala is the Charnley-Persky House, a unique Gold Coast home designed in 1891 by Louis Sullivan with assistance from his junior draftsman Frank Lloyd Wright. Today, it is recognized as a National Historic Landmark and Chicago Landmark for its pivotal place in residential design and serves as SAH headquarters. Your gifts directly aid the Society's stewardship of this architectural gem as well as its scholarly research and educational programs.

Thank you for showing your dedication to the built environment and its role in shaping contemporary life by making a gift in addition to or in lieu of your attendance. Your support empowers us to reach new audiences and foster an appreciation for architectural heritage.
