Join us for a family fun online cooking class to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month and support the High School of Art & Design! All proceeds will go to the betterment of all students at the High School of Art  & Design.


Chef Yexenia is a New York based Private Chef and Culinary Instructor, who has led healthy cooking demos for hospitals, clinics, markets, and community centers throughout New York City, and has been featured on UNIVISION, Se Habla USA. Chef Yexenia believes in teaching her students the basics of cooking so that they can feel more confident and creative in nourishing themselves. Originally from El Salvador, Chef Yexenia grew up in Brooklyn, and received her culinary degree from The Culinary Institute of New York at Monroe College, and her bachelor’s from New York University.

All registered attendees will receive a zoom link and list of ingredients prior to the event.


All registered attendees and donors through October 13 will be entered into our raffle to win La Newyorkina's Fany Gerson's "Mexican Ice Cream – Beloved Recipes & Stories", or one of two pairs of Taco Socks, compliments of Socksmith. Winners will be selected at random on 10/14/21 and need not be present to win.
