Art has the power to heal - and at Awakenings, we're proving it every day. As Chicago's only arts organization dedicated to survivors of sexual violence, we provide free, trauma-informed creative programs that help survivors reclaim their voice and find community. In 2024, we'll have served nearly 500 survivors through our art workshops, cohort programs, and open studio sessions. But we know there are many more who need us.
