It's More Than Books
It’s More than Books Campaign
The Library at Cedar Creek Lake has grown to become the primary regional resource for educational, cultural, and intellectual activities, and it has become the most visited noncommercial entity in the lake area.
As an independent library, contributions from individuals are critical to continuing
the important social programs the library provides for our community, at last count totaling 44 different activities covering preschoolers to seniors.
These efforts include the critically acclaimed summer reading programs; Story Time; adult literacy, GED and English as a second language classes, and art workshops, among other on-going activities.
In 2018, our library received nearly 125,000 visits, and attendance at programs and events reached a record 14,841 people. And incredibly, this past summer’s children’s reading program had over 3,200 attendees.
Along the way, our library has been recognized as a top-rated Star Library nationally for each of the past nine years.
