The Center for Conscious Living and Dying (CCLD) is a non-profit organization founded in 2021 by Dr. Aditi Sethi-Brown, a palliative care physician. As a nonprofit organization dedicated to community supported end-of-life care in a home-like setting, we provide virtual and hands-on training for those interested in this type of work.  We offer community workshops, death doula training, apprenticeships for direct end-of-life care, and an annual death and dying conference. We also encourage residents, their families, and members of our community to experience death as a sacred part of life that makes living more vibrant.

CCLD is much more than the end-of-life care services we offer. It is an evolving community of committed individuals who celebrate the human spirit, embrace the sacredness of living fully present, and dignify the final stages of life.

Vision

We nurture a community that celebrates the sacred wholeness of the human spirit, honors diversity in all forms, and embraces the final season of life.

Mission

The mission of CCLD is to create a community that embodies living a meaningful life through inner exploration and growth, service, and community-supported end-of-life care.

As a non-profit organization, we depend on your donations to…

  • Provide residents, family caregivers, volunteers, community members, and medical partners with end-of-life care that is intentional, empowered, and community-centered.
  • Provide workshops and educational experiences including end-of-life skills, grief and caregiver support, Doula training and apprenticeship, and a myriad of workshops such as building your own community care network, home funerals, end-of-life paperwork, living your best three months, and more.
  • Uplift a global, diverse, and intergenerational community of people seeking intentional living.

Thank you for joining us in support of this beautiful vision!

The Center for Conscious Living & Dying is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and contributions are tax-deductible. Our EIN is #87-3657907.

This is a small amount to give but I told Courtney I'd be happy to teach a workshop or series in 2025 and have CCLD keep the proceeds. LOVE y'all so much and what you are modeling for the world. So glad we're in community together.
