This summer, Ashley took a trip to the Columbus Zoo to visit her zookeeper mentor, Stephanie. Ashley got a complete behind-the-scenes look at a day in the life of a zookeeper. Throughout her tour, she was introduced to cheetahs, warthogs, and hyenas. She even got to check out the vet area and surgery rooms as she explores what a career in this field could look like.
