Create a Donorbox account

If you haven’t already, you’ll need to create a free Donorbox account for your organization. Click here to sign up.

Connect a Stripe account

You’ll also need to create a Stripe account and connect it to your Donorbox account as a payment processor.

Add a location in your Stripe account

On your Stripe dashboard, select ‘More’ then ‘Terminal’. Here, scroll to the ‘Location’ section and click ‘New’. From there, add your Location - either your event venue or your organization’s address - to show on your donors’ receipts

Create a dedicated campaign in Donorbox

In the ‘Campaigns’ tab on your Donorbox dashboard, select 'New Campaign' and then 'Donation Form'. Then, add a name and adjust any settings you’d like, but they can all be left blank.

Add your ask amounts

Once your campaign is created, head to its Settings and select ‘Amounts’. Be sure to set the Currency to the correct currency for the location, add four ask amounts (we recommend not going higher than $100, £100, or €50 to avoid the need to enter a PIN), and enter a Minimum Donation Amount.
