Goal

All Paws Safe Haven has this amazing dream. We want to have a huge building with lots of land and become a sanctuary for those dogs that need us most; the older dogs who need a soft place to land, the behavior type dogs who need some private training, or just those who need a temporarily place to lay their heads until their forever home comes along.

We want to focus on those dogs that need us most, the ones in most need of a second chance. While those "dog park dogs" (the dogs who can meet any dog or human with no second thought) are great, what about those dogs that a little quirkier? Personally, I have a dog who has extreme fear aggression towards people. He is terrified of meeting people to the point he will bite if he feels too overwhelmed. How would he survive in a shelter setting? The answer is one I do not want to think about. I want to give dogs like him a chance. Is he a good dog? YES. He just needs some management. What about the dog who loves all people but dislikes other dogs? Those dogs are hard to manage in a shelter because they are stressed by the constant exposure to other dogs.

We want to create a space for all these dogs who need a different management style. Picture each dog having their own apartment where the other interaction with their neighbors is if they want that interaction. We want each dog to have their own room with their own personal backyard access. We want to create a daily routine for each dog individually that consists of socialization with humans and other pets (if applicable), training, and down time.

Imagine the difference that can make? Take away the shelter setting, take away the shelter stress. Each dog living their individually lives. Our goal would be to rehabilitate them to a point they could go to a foster home or a forever home, but, if they do not reach that point, then as long as they are happy living in their apartment, then we are happy to host them until their final moments.

This is the part where you come in. We run 100% on volunteers. All donations go directly toward the care of our dogs, marketing, and towards our dream of a building. We rely on the support of you to help us spread our mission with your friends and family to help us make our dream a reality.

We are a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization, EIN 82-2618247. All the contributions are tax deductible. No goods or services will be provided in exchange for the contribution.
