Goal
The Capgemini Employee Disaster Relief Fund was created to help Charitable Class members who are in need of immediate financial assistance following an unforeseen disaster or personal hardship. The Fund relies on support from the sponsoring organization (Capgemini America, Inc.) and individual donations made by Capgemini America, Inc.'s partners, employees, and/or the general public. Every donation makes a difference, no matter the amount, and combined with the donations of others, helps to provide grants when they are needed most.

Someone close to me lost their home in the Palisades fire, and my heart aches for their loss and the pain they are enduring. My deepest condolences go out to them and to everyone affected by the devastating LA fires. May God bring comfort and strength to all who are grieving during this difficult time.

Seven years ago, Hurricane Harvey devastated Houston with over 50 in of rain in 3 days. I was one of 100,000 households that significantly flooded. I lost everything on the first floor of my house and both of my vehicles. Capgemini awarded me a Grant (no payback, not a loan) within a couple of weeks that was lifesaver and a bridge between the occurrence and any flow of money from my insurance or even FEMA. It allowed me to put a down payment on a car and start the process for repairs. The generosity and compassion shown to me by Capgemini was a lifesaver. Please join me in donating to this fund in view of the unbelievable devastation around LA and other disasters. Every gift, no matter how small helps a great deal. -Rich
