At the age of 16, this participant was attacked, robbed and shot. The bullet from the gunshot was lodged into his spinal cord leaving him completely paralyzed from the waist down.
Due to the challenges of getting to school and the lack of handicap accessibility at the school he was attending, this participant had to drop out of school.
Now at 29 years old, He has been given the opportunity to finish his education with the Capernaum project.
$55 a month or $660 for the whole year will cover enough to pay for a qualified teacher, class materials, a meal, entrepreneurship workshops and administrative costs.
