Honor Veterans on Patriots Day: Support the Candorful Half-Marathon Fundraiser

Support Candorful's Half-Marathon Run to honor Patriot's Day 2023!

This year I am teaming up with one of Candorful's awesome volunteer interview coaches, Dave Ventola, to run the Cocheco Challenge Half Marathon on 4/22 to honor Patriot's Day 2023. Patriot's Day is an important day in history, marking the beginning of the American Revolution and a new breed of freedom and democracy. Dave and I will run to honor ALL our Patriots, their spouses, and families from 1775 through 2023! 

Now, a half-marathon may not seem like a huge feat to some of you, but well, for me it is. I ran my first half-marathon just 2 years ago at 62 years old. I surprised myself by not only completing the challenge but also being able to walk the next day. Luckily that run was pretty flat. This year I am not only 2 years older, but the Cocheco Challenge has quite a few hills. They aren't big hills, or so I hear, but when you have to get 13.1 miles under your belt, any hill can seem big! I am counting on Dave to drag me up a few of those New Hampshire hills.

• We supported over 1000 military job candidates in 2022 with a small team of 1.5 employees and 100+ amazing volunteers.

We need your support so  we can impact EVERY veteran and military spouses who needs our help. 

We completed our migration to new technology in 2022 which means we are poised to scale and help even MORE military job candidates. BUT we need to grow our team to manage our growing candidate base! 

To do this we need YOUR help!

Let's raise $60,000. This is a leap BUT we have a RUNNING start (with your help) - We are absolutely blessed to have a board member who has pledged $30,000 if we can raise $30,000. I think we can do it if you will help.
