Campaign to Elect April Alsup to D5 School Board
After many years as a volunteer and business partner in various Lex/Rich District 5 schools and organizations, April Alsup is seeking to bring an informed, fresh, and insightful perspective to the School Board. As a mom of two D5 students, she has been deeply involved with both PTA/PTSO and SIC for the past several years. As a parent volunteer, she has made personal and professional connections with D5 teachers and administrators. As a result of her service within PTA, PTSO, and several SICs, in 2018 she was recognized as the D5 Elementary Volunteer of the Year. Alsup says her real reward has been the insights she has gained into the workings of our district and what it really takes to ensure the needs of all our children and teachers are met and exceeded.
As a real estate broker, she spent time throughout the D5 area, partnering with schools to work on various initiatives. She is aware of issues that face the different communities and schools within our district. As a member of the school board, Alsup pledges to represent all children and communities in our district.

April’s leadership at D5 schools and on District Five committees has given her a keen insight into the District as a whole. She asks great questions and doesn’t blindly believe what people tell her. She is well respected by teachers, staff and administrators. April will bring a fresh perspective to the School Board. Please join me in supporting April Alsup for the District Five School Board with your donation and vote. Any donation amount is greatly appreciated by school board candidates.
