Campaign '25-'26

Hi! My name is Sharon Abrego Rios, and I’m a freshman studying Animal Science Pre-Vet, as well as a Global Partnership Representative for Wishes for Water, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We partner with Dr. Tererai Trent in rural Zimbabwe to drill boreholes, bringing clean water to communities where women and girls often walk miles each day instead of going to school.

Clean water is essential for daily life — it means families can grow food, communities can thrive, and women and children can pursue an education. As someone passionate about agriculture and helping my community, this mission is especially close to my heart. Wishes for Water embodies both: providing the foundation for farming and food security while creating opportunities that change lives.
