Campaign '25-'26

My story:

In the fall of my Freshman year at Oklahoma State University, I joined the Wishes for Water Foundation as a Global Partnership Representative. It didn't take long for me to realize not only how impactful this organization is on the people involved, but how special, unique, and intentional its mission and our work is. My second year in the organization, I started as the Director of Brand Promotion, and have thrived in that role ever since.

This past summer, I had the privilege to travel to rural Zimbabwe, spending a week learning from the communities that our organization is directly impacting. Further, I had the honor of seeing a borehole sponsored by Wishes for Water be drilled. Seeing water flow freely from the ground at Chiroti primary, a prayer answered, was unforgettable. Seeing such beauty, joy, and abundance at each school we visited was the greatest blessing, a blessing that was even sweeter knowing I’ve had the privilege to be a part of the change. However, what became truly apparent during my week in rural Zimbabwe, that while I saw much evidence of our work having intended effects, there is still much more to be done.
