Support Camp Courage in Honor of Jon and Our Boys

Annie’s Hope – The Center for Grieving Kids provides free grief support programs for kids, teens, and families. Each year, more than 3,600 people turn to Annie’s Hope for connection, support, and healing.

In February 2024, I lost my husband, Jon—my best friend and an incredible dad to our boys, Lucas and Bowen. Grief has become part of our everyday life, and one of the most meaningful things we’ve found is community—being around others who truly understand.

That’s what Annie’s Hope provides.

Each summer, they host Camp Courage, a 5-day/4-night overnight camp for kids who are grieving. It’s a place where kids can laugh, connect, and feel less alone—while building strength and hope for the future. Lucas and Bowen attended last year and are heading back again this summer. It’s a place where they can hold both joy and grief—and just be kids.

All Annie’s Hope programs are completely free, made possible by donations. The cost to support one child at camp is over $2,200, and this year we’re working to raise $1,500 per camper.
