Caltrans District 7 Fire Relief Assistance Fund

The California Transportation Foundation (CTF) funds its efforts with contributions from donors like you.  Only with the generous support of our donors and sponsors for our annual signature events are we able to provide the financial assistance to workers injured on the job and families of workers killed in the line of duty. By supporting the CTF Injured & Fallen Worker and Emergency Relief Fund you are making a difference in the life of a family when the tragic news comes of a loss due to a natural disaster, an injured or fallen loved one.

Donations to a group fire relief assistance fund are tax deductible.

ABOUT THE CALTRANS DISTRICT 7 FIRE RELIEF ASSISTANCE FUND

On January 7, 2025, Governor Gavin Newsom proclaimed a State of Emergency for Los Angeles and Ventura Counties to support communities impacted by fires.

The Caltrans District 7 Fire Relief Assistance Fund is for Caltrans District 7 employees who lost their homes in the fires in Los Angeles.

The donated funds will be used to help their families to rebuild. All donations to this account will be evenly split among the recipients because it is a group assistance fund. CTF will not be matching donations since this is a fire related assistance account. Donations to this account are tax deductible.

CTF is a 501c(3) charitable organization. Our Tax ID number is 68-0165257. Donations to a group fire relief assistance fund are considered tax deductible. Donations received each month will be split evenly among the recipients.
