From the beginning, our heart at Wild Ginger Coffee has been to come alongside women trapped in and exiting sexual exploitation and make a difference in their lives as they walk toward total freedom.
One of the ways we have wanted to do this is through safe, trauma-informed job training and now we have that chance! This is the heart behind The Wild and Free Cafe.
Every dollar you donate here will go towards getting this coffee shop up and running so we can not only give back to one of our local organizations working with survivors (Elora House), but also be able to offer their women paid internships and set them up to succeed as we walk with them toward total freedom!
We see this kind of job and community creation as a bridge between the formerly exploited and their communities.
