Brethren Volunteer Service & FaithX

BVS is a full-time volunteer program that places adult volunteers in projects in the United States and some locations around the world to advocate justice, work for peace, serve human need, and care for creation. 

FaithX is a short-term service program through Brethren Volunteer Service that offers weeklong service trips in the United States and internationally for youth and adults.

As participants in BVS and FaithX, volunteers share their time and talents in partnership with nonprofits in the United States and abroad. Service through BVS provides the opportunity to make a positive impact in communities around the globe and broaden their worldview through new experiences.

Financial contributions allow us to support our volunteers while they make a difference in the world and gain practical professional experience, meet new people, learn about different cultures, and experience personal growth.

Service challenges volunteers to act on their commitment and values so that they may offer themselves, their time, and their talents for work that makes a positive impact in the community. Each volunteer must bring a willingness to serve – working toward peace and justice, meeting the needs of humanity, and caring for the environment require a servant heart and dedication

Your financial support to FaithX helps us provide housing, meals, transportation, and meaningful service and recreational experiences during FaithX trips.
