Goal

This campaign is for funding the business as mission program in Cambodia.

At Tenth Church, we are deeply committed to our vision of supporting and developing sustainable, redemptive social enterprises in Cambodia. One of our success stories is Shalom Valley, a Christian campground in Kep, Cambodia, which has provided transformative experiences for over 10,000 Cambodian youth and children.  This impactful ministry has sustained itself through the rental of its facilities.

Building on this success, Tenth Church is encouraged to invest in more entrepreneurial leaders and ventures over the next three years, with the hope of seeing a flourishing ecosystem of social enterprises. A significant step in this journey is our upcoming mission trip to Cambodia from October 19th to November 3rd,  2024. This trip will focus on equipping entrepreneurs and developing long-term business and ministry strategies.

Our Mission Priorities for October:

  1. Redemptive Entrepreneur Training and Coaching: We will provide Cambodian leaders connected to Tenth Church with a 3-day business and spiritual accelerator, enriching their understanding of redemptive social entrepreneurship and helping their ventures become more sustainable and impactful.
  2. Partnership with VillageWorks: We will conduct workshops with VillageWorks, a social enterprise that empowers people with disabilities by creating sustainable livelihoods through upcycled and recycled handcrafted goods. Our goal is to strengthen this important partnership and support their innovative efforts.
  3. Strategic and Relational Support: Our team will offer coaching and strategic planning to our existing partners, helping them to scale their innovative ventures and achieve their missions.

Our long-term goal is to empower the entrepreneurial community in Cambodia, encouraging a movement of redemptive social entrepreneurship that not only achieves environmental and social goals but also promotes community healing and wholeness through a Christian worldview. The October schedule will include leadership development, an intensive impact consultation with VillageWorks, and a three-day accelerator hosted by Kaleo Labs, culminating in a business competition and pitch day.

Desired Outcomes:

  • Develop a peer community of mentors.
  • Grow business and leadership capacities.
  • Accelerate the building of redemptive ventures.
  • Engage the younger generation in sustainable and impactful entrepreneurship.

We value and appreciate your support which will help us achieve our desired outcomes.

Here is our proposed budget:

  • Human Resources: CAD $4,000
  • Accelerator Subsidy: CAD $3,000 (for 30 entrepreneurs)
  • Cambodia Coaches Stipend: CAD $2,000 (for 10 coaches)
  • Retreat Costs for Staff: CAD $2,000 (for 10 Cambodian coaches and 5 Tenth staff)
  • Grants for 3 Successful Pitches: CAD $6,000

Total Budget: CAD $17,000

We invite you to join us in this mission by investing in the emerging Cambodian redemptive entrepreneurial leaders. Your donation, no matter the amount, will make a significant impact.

Thank you for your generosity and commitment to this vital work.
