Puppy mill cocker spaniels need help!
We are so thankful that we are able to help rescue dogs from horrific situations, regardless if it is a U.S. puppy mill or a South Korean one.
We believe that Compassion Knows No Borders, and these cocker spaniels need us and are deserving of a good life!
A huge puppy mill was shut down in Busan, South Korea. 575 dogs were living in terror, the most horrific conditions you can imagine. (the video and pics look exactly how American puppy mills operate, so cruel)
17 rescue organizations in South Korea all showed up at the rural property and they each absorbed as many dogs as they possibly could take.
Our rescue partners at Cocker Friends Korea (aka the "cocker moms") asked us if we could support the medical bills if they tried to rescue all of the cockers. We of couse said YES! Their volunteers drove three hours one way, in the middle of the night, to arrive to Busan at 4am.
Our other rescue partners, Korean K9 Rescue said they would help transport cockers back to Seoul as well. So the total number of cockers turned out to be 12 dogs. Six are with Korean K9 Rescue and six are with the Cocker Moms.
These dogs all have medical issues as well as the trauma that is typical for dogs that have been born into a puppy mill and have no idea what the real world is like.
This is going to be an expensive rescue but we have faith in our supporters and hope that the Camp Cocker Rescue village will rally for these twelve cocker spaniels.
We always fundraise for our South Korean rescues separately so that no donations are taken away from local dogs that need our help.
Would you like to help be a partner in bringing them here so they can start a new chapter, free from the suffering they were experiencing before? With your help, we can do this!
NO DONATION IS TOO SMALL, and we can only bring international dogs to Camp Cocker if donors specifically want to support these efforts (so that no donations are taken away from local dogs that need our help).
