Creating sustainable ecosystems for vulnerable children!

Orphans in Uganda living in dire poverty, are desperately in need of realistic and practical hope.

Children are the most vulnerable population in Uganda, with little to no advocacy in their favor. The issues surrounding the health and humanity of this population are numerous and growing, ranging from healthcare and financial issues to things as scary and severe as child trafficking. 

• 1 out of every 8 children is not enrolled in school. In America, denying a child their right to education is nearly a crime.

• The percentage of children under age 5 who own 3 or more children's books was 2%. In America, children in underprivileged families have access to more accessible programs and resources that if applied in Uganda, can change this statistic. 

• Only 17% of children in the population studied had access to clean drinking water services. In America, unsanitary drinking water, specially provided to children, would be the cause of an outroar. 

• Approximately 7k-12k children are the victims of child trafficking in Uganda every year.

• In 2016, the leading cause of death in Uganda included transferable diseases such as HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, malaria, etc.

David almost died from Malaria just from the lack of having less than $50 all because there were no systems, structures, or relationships there to sustain a vulnerable person’s life. 

Our Strategy:

A broken ecosystem keeps vulnerable people reaching out for help, and continuously living in poverty. To help disrupt that cycle, we will be providing a safe, clean, and healthy environment for children to grow and prepare themselves for adulthood. While our underlying mission is to offer a safe space driven by compassion and humility, the benefits of our orphanage to children also include:

With your help… We want to be a support to vulnerable children and lift them out of poverty. Our goal is to satisfy the empty gaps of livelihood Ugandan children are in need of, which they have no natural access to or power to achieve within their broken ecosystem. Without our efforts to care for and fulfill the needs of the children existing in these unlivable environments, an entire community who struggle to have a voice or power to advocate for their humanity will succumb to their circumstances once again, and we want to help create a better and more uplifting ecosystem they can thrive and healthily develop from. 

HOW CAN YOU HELP: 

We need your help to bring our vision to life and protect the children of Uganda. Our sponsors are the people who help us be able to take action. As a paid sponsor, we want you to know exactly where your efforts land and the difference they make. We currently offer two sponsorship packages:

Full or partial sponsorship:

$250 a month (per child)

With either package you choose to commit to, you will receive immediate logo placement on our website and business communications. Each month, we will send you a written story about a child within the orphanage who you helped overcome something, reach a milestone, or simply experience joy after suffering so much. As our orphanage is designed to prepare children for adulthood, our team will provide organized projects to ensure the children are moving up the spectrum. An overview of each project and its successes will be shared with our sponsors quarterly.
