Building Better Baseball for Burlington

A Friends of baseball group with the sole purpose of raising money for improvements at the Varsity Baseball Field at Francis Wyman.  One improvement we are working on is getting a batting cage/bullpen. This will help solve a safety concern with youth soccer players who are trying to get to their fields while pitchers are warming up. It will allow the teams to have a designated place for the pitchers to warm up and players to take batting practice and not have to hit into the fence of the field. A benefit to the entire Burlington Community, as the youth teams and anyone interested in using the cage will be invited to do so.
