We’re Building a More Inclusive Future—With Music, Tech, and Your Support

Black Girls Code is expanding our impact through Beyond Code Collective, an exciting new initiative designed to unlock creative and career pathways at the intersection of technology and the arts.

We're launching Build a Beat PR, a one-of-a-kind experience in Puerto Rico that connects the Island’s vibrant music culture with rising tech talent. In partnership with El Beatdown, this event will introduce students to hands-on learning in music production, coding, and digital creativity—bridging passion and profession for the next generation.

The Challenge

In Puerto Rico, many talented young people lack access to the tools, training, and opportunities needed to thrive in the digital economy. Without exposure to creative tech pathways, too many dreams go unrealized—and too much potential goes untapped.

Why We’re Asking You to Give

Your donation will help fund scholarships for low-income students to participate in Beyond Code Collective programming, including immersive workshops, mentorship, and real-world career exposure. These experiences don’t just teach technical skills—they ignite confidence, creativity, and possibility.

Your Gift’s Impact

Every dollar you give helps a student in Puerto Rico see themselves in both music and tech. It supports a movement where young creators can turn beats into business, ideas into innovation, and passion into lifelong opportunity.
