Goal

Water is Life – And Mushunga Project Needs It Now.

At the Mushunga Community Project, children start their day by walking 10–20 minutes downhill to fetch water from a borehole — then carry heavy jerrycans back uphill, every single day.

They do this before they even sit down to learn.

Due to a damaged national water pipeline, our compound has been disconnected from the public water system — with no immediate repair in sight. The authorities estimate it could take up to two years to fix.

This situation is not only exhausting but dangerous.
Children are falling ill. Medical costs are rising. And time meant for learning is being lost.

We’re urgently raising funds to

establish a permanent clean water source inside the project's compound.

This project will:

  • Ensure clean, safe water is available for every child and staff member

  • Improve health and hygiene

  • Reduce time spent walking for water

  • Lower medical expenses and risks

  • Restore time for what matters — education, rest, and play

Your donation will help us:

  • Cover technical assessments

  • Drill and install a water source system

  • Set up filtration or storage tanks

  • Train staff on water management and safety

No child should have to choose between education and hydration.
Let’s bring clean water closer to home — and give these children the healthy, hopeful future they deserve.

Donate today — and help the children carry water no more.
