BtB #GivingTuesday 2023

We are celebrating 20 Years at Behind the Book this #GivingTuesday! Since 2003, we have inspired and motivated over 20,000 students with our literacy programs in NYC Title 1 schools. 

Our multidisciplinary programs engage children and youth in the reading and writing process through project-based workshops which integrate universal design for learning, ensuring all students are set up for success. Students meet authors, participate in writing and art workshops, and explore the content of books through drama and relevant field trips.
