Baltimore Rapid Response Network (BRRN)

The Baltimore Rapid Response Network (BRRN) formed in late 2024 to address threats to our neighbors and community members. Organizers saw the need to share updates and build grassroots power to create the world we want to live in, together.

Baltimore organizations face unprecedented challenges, and many eager individuals want to help. BRRN connects people with labor, community, student, and faith-based groups that need support but lack capacity for sudden volunteer surges.

In January 2025, BRRN launched a pledge to engage new volunteers. Over 1,200 people have signed, and the Network has mobilized hundreds to support immigrant rights lobbying, protect immigrant students, and defend federal workers.

People are eager to be involved and contribute when needed. BRRN is fast becoming a home where individuals can join the broader movement for the future we want to build in Baltimore.

To best serve this moment and our community, we seek funding to engage and communicate with individuals quickly and securely. Our meteoric growth speaks to this moment of need, and to accommodate the demand, BRRN is fundraising to build out our infrastructure so we can continue to serve as a safe home for individuals seeking community and action.
