Brooklyn or Bust

I Inspire Productions was created to provide a one-stop-shop for Grade A entertainment in the field of film/theater. By incorporating education and motivation, we hope to address the needs of underserved and misrepresented communities. This organization, founded by Tomeka Allen in 2013, has a grassroots and collegiate background.  By contributing to our platform, you will help I Inspire to extend our reach into urban communities while we support women-led organizations by us and for us. I Inspire Productions and Ready Set October, are partnering to bring this live theater production to Brooklyn, NY entitled, "If It Doesn't Kill Me." This production focuses on how cancer can impact the lives of many families. A portion of the proceeds will go to Ready Set October, a startup grassroots organization supporting women of color recently diagnosed with breast cancer founded by Melissa del Valle Ortiz. Proceeds will also benefit RePURSEpose Inc., a registered non-profit whose mission is to provide resources, education, and financial assistance to women defeating cancer. The remaining proceeds will allow I Inspire Productions to facilitate additional screenings to diverse audiences with a focus on black and brown communities.  By contributing to our platform, you will help I Inspire to extend our reach into urban communities while we support women-led organizations by us and for us.
