Thank you Jake for organising this. In the UK we unconsciously think of Ukraine often, since many streets and roads were named after battles from the 1853-6 Crimean War. I used to live near a pub called the Alma after the battle near Sevastopol. A quick look though the London A-Z street index (a bible for London taxi drivers) will show you lots of "Crimean" streets - Odessa Roads, Inkerman Terrace, Balaclava Road (scene of the famous Charge of the Light Brigade) etc. etc. I guess we still stand for Ukraineans/Crimeans against Russian aggression even after all these years!
