Support Broad Street Review’s mission as Greater Philadelphia’s home for arts, culture, and conversation. Each and every contribution powers our commitment to professional arts journalism, and a thriving and inclusive arts and culture community.
The vast majority of each year’s budget directly funds our writers’ payments. And much of our budget comes from individual readers like you, who continue to ensure our financial and journalistic independence.
Our donors are an important part of the BSR community, and we like to foster an ongoing connection that honors your support of our work long after you hit the donate button.
The biggest way donors can help is a recurring monthly donation. This offers vital stability to our small team, and helps donors spread their gift out across the calendar year. One-time donations are also accepted.
Donors who contribute at least $60 in a year (either in automatic monthly donations of $5 or a one-time gift) become Friends of BSR. Friends of BSR receive free admission to BSR events, invitations to join staff and writer meetups, special discounts on partner events, and other perks throughout the year. Our Local Media Champions commit to a $19 monthly gift, and they enjoy deeper conversations with our staff, early access to editorials, and more.
