Breathe Florida | Our First Initiative: Brandon High School JROTC

Empowering young people in our communities with the knowledge and confidence to act in a time of crisis — and potentially save a life.

That’s the heart of our mission at Breathe Florida. We believe CPR training should be accessible to every student, giving them the skills to step up when it matters most.

Our first initiative begins at Brandon High School, my alma mater, with the JROTC program. Most years the cadets train in First Aid — and now, with your support, we can add CPR certification to their training.

It costs just $40 to certify one cadet, and with about 160 cadets in the program, we’re aiming for a $10,000 goal: enough to cover every cadet this year and set the stage for expanding to even more students in the future.
