Break the Box's 20 for 23

20 new homeowners in 2023!

Break The Box Foundation is working with the community to put 20 young minority professionals into homes in 2023. We are raising 500k to put young professionals through an extensive apprenticeship that prepares them for homeownership and equity building success. Through our apprenticeship our participants address where their money habits come from, gain awareness about their viewpoints on homeownership, and raise their level of comfortability around the home buying process through classes and mentorship.

These steps are in preparation for our young minority professionals to purchase a home for no money down and no closing costs. 

Your contribution will help these young professionals in three ways:

• Provide the educational course "The biology of belonging with money" for apprentices
• Help to subsidize rents for apprentices, allowing them to save on their journey towards a home
• Contribute to Down payment assistance for apprentices in the Break the Box Program.
