Support Dudley and Dearborn Students
BPE works to eliminate the barriers to career success that youth in Boston often face. This year we launched two programs to support our goal that Dearborn graduates enter a purposeful, wealth-building career within six years of high school graduation.
Dearborn Early College Kick-off (DECK), a collaboration between Franklin Cummings Tech and Dearborn STEM Academy accelerates student academic progress so that students can complete an Associate degree, at no cost to them, at the time of their high school graduation. The program launched this summer and was fully enrolled at 50 students.
After graduation, students move on to Dearborn Next, our new post-graduate support program. The program includes mentoring, advising, and advocating for students as they attend four-year college, two-year college, vocational training programs, and other opportunities after their high school graduation.
Would you consider a gift to provide our students with what they need to succeed in college and career?
Support Dudley Street Extracurriculars!
In addition to our rigorous academic program, our youngest scholars at Dudley Street School have access to a wide range of enrichment opportunities, including music, sports and clubs. Research shows that extracurriculars at school can increase a students social skills, time management and physical fitness. At Dudley Street, these opportunities are open to all families, regardless of their ability to pay. We rely on grants and individual donors to support this effort.
Would you consider supporting our scholars' extracurricular activities this Giving Tuesday?
