#SussexSquad Bot Sentinel Fundraiser

A few months ago, Christopher Bouzy, the founder of Bot Sentinel, made positive tweets about Meghan and Harry during their New York City visit that attracted the attention of many, which included a lot anti-Meghan and Harry hate accounts.

A person from one of those hate accounts went to a photo he tweeted of his late mother, who recently died of COVID-19, and made abusive comments. In response, Christopher said, “Oh, you messed with the wrong one today. I wasn’t going to pay attention, but now I am.” It appeared that harassment caused him to start digging deeper. 

Christopher and The #SussexSquad paths crossed on Twitter because of these tweets, when it was apparent that he had become the latest target of online harassment by anti-Meghan and Harry hate accounts. As we watched the targeted harassment unfold and the first report was published, many Squad members quickly realized we had a common interest with Bot Sentinel and Christopher Bouzy. He was like a breath of fresh air and the answer we were looking for over the last four years in the ongoing hate and smear campaign that the British media and online troll had waged against Meghan, Duchess of Sussex.

During the last four years, The #SussexSquad has made countless reports and complaints to social media companies regarding the hate and harassment towards Meghan. The media platforms have not done enough to solve this problem. 

Christopher introduced a tool to track hate accounts, which he defined as “single-purpose hate accounts.” These fixated single-purpose hate accounts were created to cyberstalking Meghan, Duchess of Sussex.
