Goal

A fund to provide financial relief to music makers in the Boston area affected by lost revenue from gig cancellations related to COVID-19. Small grants of up to $200 will be made rapidly to applicants who demonstrate:

  • lost revenue from shows, festivals, and events canceled due to coronavirus/COVID-19
  • residency in Greater Boston as defined by The Boston Foundation's catchment area.

The Record Co. is administering the fund "on the house" and covering credit card fees so that 100% of contributions go directly to affected music makers and groups.

      Andrew | $5.45

I am an amateur musician and know many professional musicians, including my son and his wife, so I understand what slim budgets they live on and how hard it would be to switch to something completely outside their devasted field of work. I was laid off myself, but feel I can do a little for these great artists.
