Every child facing a life-threatening illness has a story worth telling. Not an adult's version of it, theirs: what the treatments feel like, what scares them, what gets them through. Books That Heal helps them write it, illustrate it, and hold the published book in their hands.

Book Buddies make that possible. Every book is free for the family, always. There is no paid staff and no overhead, so your gift goes straight into producing a child's book.

Book Buddies give between $10 and $1,000 annually. Here is exactly what your support can accomplish:

What your gift does

• $275 covers the publisher's cost for a child's book
• $500 prints 100 copies of a child's book
• $2,500 covers the full cost of a child's book, start to finish

Any amount helps, and gifts of $250 or more can be paid in installments across the year.
