Help open-up, maintain, and ensure safety of the different climbing areas in the Philippines.
Your money will be used to purchase various equipment and hardware needed to establish new climbing areas, as well as to replace old / damaged / rusty protection in old areas. Most commonly purchased are:
- Expansion bolts (for routes and route anchors)
- Hangers
- Anchors, Carabiners, Maillons
- Drill + Battery + Component replacements (costs around USD 1,000 per unit)
It will also augment other expenses when developing new climbing areas, such as transportation/liaison costs of visiting and coordinating with land owners/authorities, and trail and crag access development (cleaning, maintenance).
