Sea-Worthy Shellebrity Robin Roberts

Robin Roberts | RE/MAX of the Islands and Sunshine Seafood Café

Robin Roberts is originally from Indiana, and has lived in Florida for 18 years. She fell in love with Sanibel's wildlife and conservation mindset (and of course the shells!), so she naturally fell right into place as a Shell Ambassador at the Shell Museum! She loves how the Museum changes the lives of people from all backgrounds and of all ages, and helps them see the beach in a different way than they ever have before.

Roberts' favorite shell is the Lightning Whelk because it's beautiful… duh! But also because it opens on the left, making it quite unique. Cephalopods are her favorite mollusks, especially the nautilus, with its mesmerizing spiral. Some may call her a "seasoned veteran," as this is her 4th year volunteering for the Shell Museum's fall event!
