Goal
BLOSSOMING is The Vagrancy's new works incubator.
Each year, four Los Angeles playwrights are selected to develop an all-new play over 9 months. The playwrights develop their ideas alongside each other, a director, and a cast. The process culminates in a directed reading of the full script, following a 16-hour rehearsal process.
2023 is our 12th year of BLOSSOMING, and 63 new plays have been developed in this program so far.
The theme for 2023 is Exile/Embrace.
