Black Music Matters 2.0 Fundraising Campaign (Vocal Coalition)
Dear community member,
Your love of music and people can have a transformative impact on your city this month through Vocal Coalition. Here's how:
On Thursday, February 28th at 7:00pm, Vocal Coalition (VOCO) presents BLACK MUSIC MATTERS 2.0 at the History Colorado Center. Back by popular demand, curated by Denver gospel quartet Spirit of Grace, and narrated by Denver poet Suzi Q. Smith, BLACK MUSIC MATTERS tells the story of the black experience from Africa to Colorado through art on the last night of Black History Month. The concert will feature an incredible roster of Colorado artists sharing the stage and their music with a 130-voice student choir from four different school music programs from across Denver.
The event is approaching and anticipation is building. And now, we're asking you to help bring BLACK MUSIC MATTERS to life in your city with a generous gift.
Here's the three-step process for how to give to our campaign:
1. Believe in yourself. Believe that your love of music and people can Transform society. Don't skip this step. It starts with you.
2. Make a gift. Your gift of any amount toward our $10,000 campaign will help cover artist fees, student scholarships, professional sound, and much more.
3. Come to the concert. Get your tickets to the show and experience the transformative impact of your gift for yourself. You'll never be the same.
The students are excited. The artists are, too. Now, we need you. A gift from you matters. Please give to our campaign, and join us on February 28th for a transformative musical evening.
