Black Mothers in Power Donations

Thank you for your interest in making a donation to Black Mothers. We are a grassroots organization that seeks to eradicate racial health disparities among Black Women and Black babies throughout the state of Delaware. Although we’ve only been in existence as an organization for nearly 2 years, we have accomplished so much! Take a look at our organization timeline to get a glimpse for yourself.

  • General Donation - A $25 donation is a great contribution to help us cover our admin costs, general costs, space rental, etc.

  • Birth Center - A $500 donation will help fund the costs to build a Birth Center in Wilmington.

  • Community-based Doula Training Program - A $750 donation will support the costs for a Black person to become a trained and certified Doula.

  • Community-based Postpartum Program - A $50 donation will fund payment to a birthing person for journaling their postpartum experience.

  • Midwife Scholarship - A $250 donation will help us purchase books for a Black person in Midwifery school.

  • Relief Fund  - A $100 donation would help a family cover the costs of diapers for one month or $500 to cover the cost of a Doula for a family in Delaware.
