This is our first time participating in Northern Virginia's Bird Alliance Birdathon fundraiser.
NVBA's work helps to preserve habitat, increase awareness and build community in support of birds and the people that love them.
We're siblings born in Bolivia, and raised in Northern Virginia. We grew up loving nature and creatures large and small. The name of our team is 'bird' in Quechua, one of the indigenous languages of the Andean region of South America.
Support this year's Birdathon using the donation form on this page. Hope that we can count on your support!
Birdathon helps NVBA to support outdoor education, citizen science, habitat conservation and programs to encourage people to plant native plants and protect native wildlife. Birdathon also helps ornithologists better understand spring migration by reporting sightings through eBird, an online database of bird observations run by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology.
Thank you for your support!
Northern Virginia Bird Alliance is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Our federal tax ID number is 51-0246325. No goods or services are provided in exchange for your donation.
