Goal

Monticello Madness Birdathon!

Fantastic kudos to our great community of birders whose keen eyes and ears across 12 hours of birding in Monticello Park helped us find 65 species – smashing last year’s record of 58!

The most unusual sightings were a Common Nighthawk, a Yellow-billed Cuckoo, and a Red-tailed Hawk. Once again we had 18 warbler species – including couple of Canadas, a barrage of Blackpoll’s, a richness of Redstarts, and a quick glimpse and photo of a Wilson’s!

A huge thank you to all (including, but I am sure we have overlooked a few) Doug, Ed, Ginger, Carol, Joan, Deb, Kay, Mary, Bill, Anne, David, Larry, Amanda, Tina, Anne Marie, Ross, Emily, and of course, Mike and Tom!

And thanks so much for your contributions to help NVBA!
