Anissa Meacham established this fund in memory of her father Bill Weese. Additional contributions have been received from friends and family members, as well as a grant from the Weyerhaeuser Company. Income is used to provide scholarship assistance for residents of Webster County, either recent high school graduates or adults who are switching careers and are seeking a professional trade or re-training assistance. Recipients must use the scholarship to attend a trade school or vocational education program that offers certification, or a degree program designed to teach skills for a specific segment of employment.
