Small but Mighty is a purpose-driven collective advocating for people and the planet. We believe that autonomy amid community is the key to success in all things.
Our permanent, affordable, cooperative housing model works to support residents through beautifully designed micro-neighborhoods that build a sense of belonging and genuine connection to the bonded community where they live. As an added plus, our neighborhoods are built sustainably, so they can support their own needs while producing power, food and commerce in such abundance that they can also provide support for the community at large.
Our temporary tiny shelter communities are movable, scalable communities that can exist anywhere in the city and can be a transition for many living on the street. Access to a door that locks and shelter from the elements provides a safe place to sleep and store belongings for those who need a little help getting started on the path to being housed.
No one wants to live outside. No one wants to be a blight on society.
Everyone's situation is their own and we cannot begin to assume what's best for another person - but we can provide help to those who want it, and do what we can to help as many as possible.
